Michael Bond - Paddington Abroad

I think I could leave the post just like that. Everyone knowing Mr. Paddington Brown should know the outcome of a journey with the little gentle-bear involved :-)

Paddington is very excited: the Browns will go on holidays, and better, they take Paddington with them, and best: Paddington is allowed to do some of the planning. So our little bear sits whole nights in his room, checking maps, finding places of interest (and getting everything stained with marmalade...).
When the family finaly arrives in France they find (after one or the other adventure) a nice little town by the sea, where the rest of the holidays are spent - not hard to tell, that Paddington drops one or the other brink :-)

Michael Bond once again describes in a delightful way the adventures of the funny little bear, who always tries to do the best, and mostly fails, but as bears always do: he always lands on his feet, and everything turns out to be good in the end.

10 out of 10 for the 3rd Paddington book, and as the 4th is somewhere in my shelf, I might go on reading, but have not decided yet!

Btw, here is a picture of the Paddington Statue at Paddington Station - we visited him this June, but somehow he was not very talkative, but kept staring at my donut...
