I don't think that I need to speak about the books in general - for me, Harry Potter is the perfect cycle for young adults, and I feel very sorry for myself, because I first heard of HP well after my 20th birthday :-(.
The audiobooks are read by Jim Dale, and well, this man is a bummer! The reading is easy to understand, each character has an own accent (McGonagall is Schottish, of course), you know when one is afraid, cheerful or tired. I simply loved the audiobooks, and award a full 10 out of 10 and recommend them to everyone who wants to go back into HP-Universe and does not have the time to re-read the books!
